DO YOU SELL WEDDING GOWNS?
No. We no longer carry wedding gowns for sale. We do perform wedding alterations! There are many places to purchase quality dresses for alteration that will allow a faster delivery time. Please read more about our wedding dress and bridal gown alterations.
WHAT IS YOUR SPECIALTY?
We specialize in all kinds of wedding gown alterations, from resizing, refashioning, sculpturing, revamping, remodeling, adding sleeves, redesigning sweetheart neckline, recreating corset lace-up back, and recreating a detachable train.
DO YOU ACCEPT CUSTOMIZATIONS FROM SCRATCH?
No. We no longer custom create wedding dresses. We do, however, alter ready-made gowns to look and fit as if it were made just for YOU! Please read more about our wedding dress alterations.
CAN YOU GIVE ME AN ESTIMATE OVER THE PHONE OR THROUGH TEXT?
Wedding gown alterations are a form-fitted piece of art and as a result, it can be very challenging to quote you for the cost of your alteration without seeing the gown on you. This is why we’ll offer you a free no-obligation consultation ($100 in value) during which a professional fitter can give you great tips and suggestions on how to make your gown fit and look better and more flattering.
HOW SOON CAN I BRING IN MY WEDDING GOWN FOR ALTERATIONS?
You can bring in your dress or gown for alteration up to 3-4 months ahead of your wedding day. Furthermore, you don’t have to worry about fluctuations in fit. Once we receive your dress, we’ll make sure your dress or gown fits perfectly before your wedding.
DO YOU ACCEPT SHORT NOTICE?
We try to be as flexible as we can when it comes to short notices. Please give us a call to inquire if we can help you with your alteration.
IS IT WISE TO BUY A BIGGER-SIZED DRESS?
When purchasing a wedding dress, it is always better to go for a bigger size and longer length, rather than a smaller or shorter one.
WHERE DO YOU RECOMMEND I BUY MY WEDDING DRESS?
We always recommend checking online first, as you’re more likely to find deals on the same gowns that you’ll find at local retail locations.
IS IT WORTH BUYING A HIGH-END DESIGNER WEDDING DRESS?
Yes. From experience, a high-end dress or gown is definitely worth it for a couple of reasons. One of them is that the quality is usually higher than a regular mass-produced wedding gown. In addition to that, you have the option to resell the dress for a decent amount after the wedding.
